Border Bingo Clubs
Border Bingo Clubs have been successfully running their bingo clubs for many years. However various factors including the smoking ban and more on-line bingo meant that they needed to re-position themselves in the marketplace and encourage a new and younger audience to play. Rather than seeing the rapid rise of on-line bingo as a threat it was used as a positive way to promote the more sociable values of Border Bingo Clubs. As a result a new brand identity was developed which highlighted that bingo is a fun and sociable activity and that these are local and independently run clubs who really value and look after their members. The character of Buzby the parrot was launched with the accompanying strapline Are you coming out to play? The brand has been rolled out successfully to via advertising, members newsletters, radio campaign and within the clubs themselves.
