2010 Borders Book Festival
The line up for the 2010 Borders Book Festival has been announced. As fans of the festival we wanted to give it a plug on the Bright Light Marketing website. The following copy is taken from Facebook.
Borders Book Festival
After many months of planning, the programme for The Borders Book Festival 2010 has been officially launched. In the company of organisers and sponsors alike, Festival Director Alistair Moffat launched what is reckoned to be the best Festival yet.
Just a few of the names appearing between the 17th and 20th of June in Me...lrose include Kate Adie, Rory Bremner, Victoria Wood, Gervase Phinn, Douglas Hurd and Shirley Williams.
If you're a fan of QI, you're in for a treat. The series creators, John Lloyd and John Mitchinson, will be discussing this phenomenon. Lloyd is also associated with other TV classics Not The Nine O'Clock News, Spitting Image and Blackadder. John joins Rory Bremner in what will be a fascinating conversation on the Saturday.
The Family Book Festival goes from strength to strength with appearances from Michael Morpurgo, Vivian French, Richard Harland and many more. Grabbing a Family Day Pass can get two adults and up to three children entry to four selected events on either the Saturday or Sunday for just £18. There are more details on the website.
