Classic Camper Holidays

This exciting new company hire out classic VW camper vans from their Scottish Borders base and offer customers the opportunity to experience a short break or longer holiday in one of these unique vehicles. To raise awareness of the company a local and national press campaign was launched. Firstly the local campaign achieved coverage with a competition to readers to name one of the vans and win a holiday in it. This generated a lot of interest in the company locally as well as generating bookings too and was followed up with another photographic feature on the family who won the break in newly named Bluebell. Nationally a mini camper van and invitation was sent out to journalists to experience a break in a classic camper van for themselves and to date this has generated coverage in national and regional titles including The Scotsman, Sunday Herald, BBC Countryfile Magazine, The Aberdeen Press and Journal, the Nottingham Post and the Essex Courier.
